Munmak Plant Signs Initiative Environmental Agreement (EA) for Reducing Chemical Waste

Munmak plant has been selected as an Initiative Environmental Plant for reducing chemical waste and signed the agreement with the Wonju Local Environmental Board on the 31st of May.
|
Among KCC Munmak plant, there were 5 more corporations joining the agreement with the Wonju Green Union and the Kangwondo Government. The target of the agreement is to reduce chemical waste up to 30% by 2007 and up to 50% by 2009, which is planned to improve the surrounding environment.
By this initiative agreement, Munmak plant could be considered as a leading chemical waste reducing plant as well as planting the image that the plant which cares for the local economy. Addition to that, the agreement will improve workshop conditions which will eventually lead to production efficiency and safety accidents prevention.
