Last Oct. 16th, KCC CEO Chung, Mong-jin was chosen as the 5th winner of ‘Friend of Kunshan’ award from Kunshan City’s People’s Government which was held in Kunshan Hotel in Kunshan, China.

 ‘The Friend of Kunshan’ is a conferred title from Kunshan City’s People’s Government in China which is given to a foreign investor who has contributed crucially to the open-door economy development of Kunshan. Including KCC CEO Chung, Mong-jin, 1 American, 2 Japanese, 1 Spanish have been awarded the prize. ‘The Friend of Kunshan’ not only grants the right as a citizen, but also the right to participate in a consultation regarding the economic development of Kunshan City as a special advisor for the mayor of Kunshan City. Also, they introduce the world Kunshan City and attract foreign investment, as well as leaving their name in the list of masters in Kunshan.


 During this award, high position public officers including the secretary of the people’s parties as well as the mayor of Kunshan City, representatives from various enterprises and influential figures were at the award. KCC CEO Chung, Mong-jin delivered the address of thanks in fluent Chinese and the audiences were fascinated. Through this address of thanks, KCC CEO Chung, Mong-jin showed his great gratitude as a representative of the prizewinner, expressing himself as half-Korean and half-Chinese for his deep consideration in his investment in Kunshan. He promised constant consideration and effort for the development of Kunshan in the future.
