Inorganic Materials

KCC's inorganic materials can be classified into metalized ceramics and direct copper bonding boards. We are developing and supplying fine ceramics, a new advanced inorganic material, by combining and developing accumulated technology and experience in inorganic materials and advanced technology in organic materials.
KCC’s metalized ceramics are being manufactured with an efficient automated process, by which the latest equipment and the most advanced technology have been adopted along with a strict integrated quality control system.

KCC Metalized Ceramics is being manufactured with efficient automation process by adopting the latest equipment and advanced technology and applying strict integrated quality control system.
In addition, KCC has developed integrated module products based on KCC’s core technologies, such as metalizing and brazing technologies. In order to realize customer's process shortening and cost reduction, we are supplying components by integrating ceramics and various metal parts.

We provide the best assembly products manufactured by our state-of-the-art high-vacuum brazing equipment, continuous brazing equipment and other types of equipment of various metal parts.
DCB board, which is a core material of power modules, is manufactured based on the technology of ceramic tape casting. KCC has developed various ceramic board technologies, including DCB boards made of alumina (Al₂O₃) and aluminum nitride (AlN).
Especially, KCC has developed a process which manufactures DCB boards from raw materials to finished products, and is leading the ceramic materials market for electric/electronic applications.

Ceramic for Vacuum Interrupter

Application of KCC ceramic tube to VI ceramics provides excellent bonding performance, tissue compactness and vacuum airtightness compared to general ceramics. Vacuum circuit breaker (VI) with KCC power control ceramics is used for transmission and distribution, factories/apartments/factory supply and distribution.

DCB board used as a power module board

A power module is a module equipped with a semi-conductor power device that converts electricity (DC, AC), voltage and current into the appropriate form and size required by the system.
Power modules are mainly used in industrial and system air conditioners such as inverters, uninterruptible power supplies, welders, elevators, automobiles and household appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators.

It has excellent heat dissipation compared to general PCB boards, high reliability under high temperature and high pressure, and the power module to which our board is applied is mainly used in the electric power industry, consumer electronics, as well as industrial applications, aerospace and automotive industries.
KCC’s DCB boards consist of two types. Al₂O₃ and AlN DCB boards are mainly used for industrial use. We are developing HIC boards and ZTA boards for automobile electronics.
